What we do

Scaffolding design.

Drawings and calculations for anything non-standard, signed off before it goes up.

Close-up of a swivel coupler and pressed-steel fitting on a scaffold standard, a terraced street out of focus below.

Most scaffolds do not need a designer. TG20:21 covers the common cases, and a compliance sheet is enough. The moment a job steps outside that guidance, it needs drawings and calculations before anyone puts tube on the ground.

That covers more than people expect: heavy duty loadings, temporary roofs, anything cantilevered or suspended, birdcages carrying material, and almost anything on the exposed stretches of this coast where wind loading drives the design.

We would rather find that out at the quote stage than halfway up. If a job needs designing, we will say so, and you will have the drawing before the wagon is loaded.

What's included.

  • TG20:21 compliance sheets for standard configurations
  • Bespoke design drawings and structural calculations where the guidance does not apply
  • Wind loading assessed for the actual exposure at that location
  • Loading schedules for heavy duty and material-storage decks
  • Drawings issued for approval by architects, engineers and principal contractors
  • As-built confirmation on completion for the project file

How we stay compliant.

  • Designs to BS EN 12811 and TG20:21
  • Calculations retained and reissued on request for the life of the structure
  • Any design change re-issued before the alteration is made, never afterwards
  • Inspection regime specified as part of the design
  • Handover pack including drawing, calculations and certificate
