Where we work
Scaffolding in Aspatria.
Market town and farm buildings.

Aspatria sits inland on the coastal plain, a small market town with a mining past and a farming present. St Kentigern's and the older core are sandstone; most of the rest is straightforward terraced and semi-detached stock.
What makes work here different is what surrounds it. A lot of our Aspatria jobs are not in the town at all but on the farms around it — barn conversions, roof replacements on outbuildings, and steadings being turned into houses.
Farm buildings bring their own problems. The ground is rarely level or firm, there is often no hard standing to bear on, and the structures themselves were built to a standard that predates anyone worrying about whether you could tie into them.
What we deal with in Aspatria.
- Farm buildings and barn conversions on soft or uneven ground
- Sole boards and load spreading doing real work, not a formality
- Older agricultural structures that cannot always be tied into
- Sandstone in the older town core
- Long spans over open steadings, often wanting a temporary roof
